Air Systems provided building information modeling (BIM) services to help our customer expand and renovate their existing building and bring it up to code. We installed HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems throughout the upgraded facility.
The Stanford University School of Medicine (SoM) needed to renovate an existing 73,000-square-foot, two-story building with basement, for use as a biomedical research laboratory.
For this project, we provided:
- BIM services
- Chiller pad with cooling tower and AHU in the equipment yard
- Plan and specification services
And we also installed:
- Exhaust and supply air valves, steam boiler, and four air handling units (AHU)
- HVAC, plumbing, piping, and Automated Logic controls
The Stanford University SoM is one of the top medical schools in the country and has a long tradition of leadership in pioneering research, creative teaching protocols, and effective clinical therapies.
