Scope of Services:
Architectural sheet metal contractor for multi unit condominiums with a center courtyard, wood and steel construction; balconies and exposed walkways; plaster and metal siding exteriors wall treatment.

Description:
This architectural sheet metal project was in an urban setting which encompassed an entire city block.
It was a challenge to coordinate and the schedule was compressed. Our challenges were:
- No on-site storage for material and tools.
- High theft rate at location
- Working and coordinating with multiple trades in a confined space presented a challenge all on its own.
The materials used were 26,500 sf of X-12 metal siding with concealed fasteners, 28,500 sf of SSR-16 metal roofing panels and 3,500 sf of F-12 metal soffits.
The crew needed to work together to provide a very tight turn around on shop made material and installation.
Tom Guilfoy Award for Craftmanship
California SMACNA 2007 Tom Guilfoy Memorial Architectural Sheet Metal Award was awarded to Air Systems for the Harborwalk Condominium project.
This award is in memory of Tom Guilfoy, representing the 100 years his company and predecessors have contributed to the art of architectural metals.
The name Guilfoy has automatic association with architectural metal work craftmanship and challenge.
